The craftsmanship of the cat tower is excellent holding two 14 pound cats. As a designer, the details and construction are beautiful with very smooth rounded edges for the cats to hang off (see image). The carpet pads are getting snags but clearly there are snaps on the pads for a reason and no loop carpet can stand up to these cats with untrimmed claws. Finally, the cantilevered shelves holding this weight of these cats are impressive and there is no movement, creaking or any structural flaw in this tower. It is completely worth the investment and I plan to have this for a lifetime.
